Serial number 323070 places its manufacture in 1966.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Pioneer features Ludwig’s classic three-ply shell with reinforcement rings and a white-painted interior. Its six-lug design gives the drum an open, warm response with plenty of vintage character, while the shallow 5x14 configuration remains crisp and sensitive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEquipped with triple-flanged chrome-over-steel hoops, original Ludwig P-83 strainer, script butt plate and Classic lugs. The original baseball-bat internal muffler is missing, with its two factory mounting holes remaining. Fitted with Remo Ambassador heads and replacement snare wires.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Gold Sparkle wrap remains remarkably bright and attractive, with only normal cosmetic wear to the chrome hardware for a drum approaching 60 years old.
